About performance
Was Eve not born of Adam’s rib? The story of Adam and Eve in the 21st century in the style of Woody Allen and Franz Kafka.
Adam missed the arrival of the 21st century. Alone and closed off in his strange lab, trying to save everything for fear of losing control over life. Preserve everything. Log everything. Draw everything.
In his workshop with hundreds of objects he masters his life of ideas, dreams, memories and nightmares. His bubble is burst in one night by Eve. Is she a true woman created from Adam’s rib or merely one of his visions?
A magical chamber play about a little person in a big world inspired by the works of Michail Bulgakov, Ingrid Bergmann, Woody Allen and Andrej Tarkovsky. This breathtaking and psychedelic journey into the mind of Adam takes place in a glass cube in front of the eyes of the audience as they become a voyeur into the inner world of the (anti) hero. Adam’s diary of internal feelings and states of mind materialise during the production in comic form directly on the stage.
